Here are two Victorian French jet tassels or tassles.

One has chenille velvet fringe with delicate jet beading, there are also round glass beads atop the chenille fringe.  This one measures 6 1/2 inches in length from the top of the loop to the edge of the longest fringe.  At its widest it is 2 3/4 inches.

The other tassel has elongated glass beads at the edge of the fringe, five of these elongated beads have cracks and two are missing this bead at the edge.  The rest of the piece is in fine condition.  The bead work gives the illusion of pierced work in its formation.   This one also measures 6 1/2 inches in length and is 2 1/4 inches at its widest.
